TORTOISE RACE BETWEEN XIAOMI AND SAMSUNG

Today's topic is bit interesting describing keen points towards Tortoise race between Mega-giants... One is Xiaomi chinese megatrend and other is Samsung South korean Giant.

Tug of war conditions arising between both the companies Samsung and Xiaomi, Samsung being one of Biggest company in his domain giving High end Smartphones to budget mobile phones. 

Samsung stood tall in market with almost 35% total market share but the new arrived competitor let samsung to struggle in maintaining the position.

Samsung is known for its basic design, solid performance and high technology but Xiaomi targeting market by launching budget smartphones with very high end technology that Samsung provide in their 30k series of phones.

Navkendar Singh, Research Director, Client Devices & IPDS, IDC India observes, "India smartphone market will continue its growth trajectory in the second half of 2019, but the consolidation of top few brands will continue. This will make it much more challenging for smaller players to find niches of growth. A very strong 2H19 is essential to bring double-digit YoY growth in the fastest-growing smartphone market of this size globally. We should expect continued aggression by the online heavy brands and e-tailers in the next few months fuelled by new launches and price reductions of last few launches, leading up to the festive season in October. We will also see a much more competitive offline market play going forward, with all the major brands fighting for limited shelf space, which will make the retail channel very critical for any brand's success." 

Chinese brand Xiaomi smartphones are loaded with cutting edge technology that samsung fails to find out in his low range product segment. For encountering this epic battle Samsung launched its new phone Samsung galaxy M30s packed with gigantic 6000 Mah battery, sAMOLED display features.
