WORLD FOOD DAY

Today i will share information about WORLD FOOD DAY which is celebrated on 16 October every year with the context of saving and conserving food so that every hunger of the world get diminish.



In the dim light of world hunger index of world hunger is at very serious rating 31.1 which denotes that it is about to touch alarming level very soon in the year 2020.

For conquering this very radical issue UNITED NATIONS has successfully organised World level campaign named WORLD FOOD DAY that has the insight meaning to gain awareness about Food security and to deliver food to every person.



 LOOK AT THE PICTURE DESCRIBING VERY SERIOUS CONDITION.


The total number of under-5 deaths worldwide has declined from 12.6 million in 1990 to 5.3 million in 2018. On average, 15 000 children under-5 die each day compared with 34 000 in 1990. Since 1990, the global under-5 mortality rate has dropped by 59%, from 93 deaths per 1,000 live births in 1990 to 39 in 2018. 
Above figures shows that due to initiative by UNITED NATIONS hunger index is declining year by year.
Out of millions of hungry people around the globe still are people 672 million of people suffer from obesity 1.3 billions are overweight, this has to change very soon. In one corner people don't have anything to eat but at other face of coin people are obese and overweight that describe current scenario of the world.


                  WE ALL WASTE FOOD LET'S TAKE OATH TO STOP DOING

EVERY SINGLE SPOON OF FOOD WE WASTE CAN FEED AT-LEAST 2 PEOPLE JUST THINK ABOUT THEM ONCE AND DON'T WASTE FOOD FROM NOW ON! WELCOME THIS WORLD FOOD DAY WITH ARMS OPEN AND OATH OF NOT WASTING FOOD.
